Maci Bookout is finally responding to Bristol Palin joining Teen Mom OG – and she isn’t happy with MTV! While on Kailyn Lowry and Lindsie Chrisley’s podcast Coffee Convos, Bookout reacted to the casting decision.

“We were never called before it was released,” Bookout, 26, told Lowry and Chrisley. “A courtesy call an hour before, call us and say, ‘This is who your new cast member is going to be.’ We have been doing this for 10 years.”
As for Palin joining the cast, Bookout “doesn’t really care.” “If someone is presented with the opportunity, you can’t be mad at someone for accepting an opportunity,” she explained. “Anybody is better than Farrah!”
Abraham was fired from Teen Mom OG because of her return to the adult film industry and treatment of the crew. Since Palin and new cast member Cheyenne Floyd were not on the original series, they feel the show should no longer have “original girls” in the name.

Bookout and Palin have met before. The teen moms worked together to promote The Candie’s Foundation.
Also on the podcast, Bookout discussed her baby daddy Ryan Edwards’ most recent arrest. He was busted on July 23 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, from a past simple possession of heroin arrest. She currently has a restraining order against him for two years because of his threatening behavior. Her husband Taylor McKinney and their children Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2, are also protected.
“I have no idea what state he’s in because he’s not allowed to be around us,” she explained. “He can’t be in the same location as me and the family. He’s not allowed to contact us. He did get arrested. I feel better that he is in jail because he’s safe there. He’s not driving or doing something that could hurt him or an innocent person. It’s a crappy situation for everyone. It’s Bentley’s dad.”
