Lockwood, 57, smooched hair stylist gal pal Stephanie Hobgood during a romantic stroll on the beach with their new boxer puppy in Malibu. As RadarOnline.com previously revealed exclusively, LMP's estranged husband popped the question over a romantic meal in Los Angeles and his bride-to-be is already said to be planning their big day. Michael, dressed smartly in a gray flat cap, matching coat, top and jeans, laughed with his bride-to-be, who opted for blue jeans and a cream sweater, as they sipped iced coffee before playing with their pooch on the sand. The musician, who split from Elvis' daughter in 2016 after a decade-long marriage, is in the middle of a nasty custody battle over their 10-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley, and friends say Hobgood has been his rock since they got together in 2017.
Lockwood popped the question during a romantic meal at Italian restaurant Pache in Los Angeles’ Laurel Canyon, and has since celebrated with family and friends who have supported him throughout his divorce.
“He never expected to find love at a time like this, but Stephanie has stood by him every step of the way and they are crazy about each other,” a source claimed. “Michael is very traditional and wrote a letter to her father to ask for her hand in marriage. The family loves him, and gave their blessing.”
He took his girlfriend on a date night and wrote a loving message on a place mat along with the words “Will you marry me?” before presenting it to his girlfriend, who was left lost for words. “She sat there in silence for a while as he got down on one knee, she then realized he was serious and said yes,” the source continued.

“He presented her with his grandmother’s diamond ring from the 1950’s, and they have already discussed the wedding details. They are so excited!”

Lockwood first met Hobgood, 41, who works with a number of high-profile stars, through mutual friends in February 2017 while sleeping on their sofa.
She was sympathetic of his situation, and their chemistry was “instant.”
The couple were first pictured a few months later locking lips at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Los Angeles, after which they moved in together and started planning their future.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Presley and Lockwood have been locked in a nasty financial and custody battle since their split more than two years ago. On December 10, a judge ruled that the couple’s daughters must undergo a mental health examination amid new allegations of abuse.
