The actor's mother died on May 20, his wife Amber filed for divorce two days later, and now, an insider told RadarOnline.com, his family is rushing to L.A. to try to help him cope!

But the Pirates of the Caribbean actor broke his silence yesterday, releasing an official statement to the press.

"Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life," the statement read. "Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."

"Everyone is trying to help with arrangements for his mom's funeral and trying to get out there," Radar's source shared. "If there is a service they'll have it in Los Angeles. Johnny took care of everything else in his mother's life, so he will take care of putting her to rest too."
