Lamar Odom decided to try to conquer his demons by checking into a California rehab facility, and RadarOnline.com has obtained new photo of the former basketball star enjoying a stroll outside the treatment center.

Odom, 37, was spotted on Dec. 19 walking near the San Diego rehab he recently checked into in order to fight his addictions to drugs and alcohol.

He reportedly went of his own volition, determined to work on his mental and physical health.

After his overdose, Odom was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital, where he was put into a medically induced coma. When he came back to consciousness, he didn’t understand that he had been out. “Nothing came out when I opened my mouth, so I was scared," he revealed.
