Kristin Cavallari Speaks Out On Car Crash & Brother's Death: 'I Am So Thankful'

Kristin Cavallari got "corny" on Instagram Wednesday night, expressing her gratitude for life after her recent car crash and the sudden death of her brother, Michael. See photos of the star after the accident.
"Sorry — gonna get corny on u for a second," Cavallari wrote on Instagram. "I dislocated my elbow in a car accident last week and because of that, and everything else I've been through in the past couple months, I have such an appreciation for life. I am so thankful it wasn't worse, and more importantly that my babies weren't with me."

"My arm hurts like a b**** but I'm thankful because I have my arm!! Shot my spring shoe look book today and even though I could barely move my arm, I am forever grateful for being here to shoot it," she concluded.

Cavallari emerged on Wednesday without her elbow cast – she must be improving quickly!

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the former Laguna Beach star, 29, was "hit by another car" while traveling in Chicago, sources exclusively shared.
"Dislocated my elbow last Thursday and not being able to hold my baby is absolutely killing me," Cavallari confirmed the news on Sunday, her first message since the accident.
After her brother, Michael, 30, was discovered dead after abandoning his car off of a Utah highway in late November, the reality star was shattered.

"My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh," Cavallari wrote at the time. "You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP."
Michael's struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues may have led him down a troubled path, as he was arrested shortly before disappearing.
