Grand County Sheriff Steven White said that below freezing temperatures might have played a part in Michael's death, noting, "I don't know what his mental state might have been, with possible hypothermia."
The mourning Kristin posted this shot of the siblings as tots in memorial to her late brother, writing, "I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace."
Cavallari's stepbrother Drew Spies told RadarOnline.com exclusively that Michael was prone to bizarre behavior. "It appears he was unprepared and on an off road in freezing weather this time of year -- that's so Mike. Trying to walk from his car instead of bunkering down until morning."
