Kitchen Disaster! Rachael Ray Packs On 105 Pounds

Facing the end of her fizzling cooking show and trapped in a marriage crisis, stressed-out TV chef Rachael Ray has packed on a fridge-busting 105 pounds — and her yo-yoing weight threatens to send her to an early grave! Click through RadarOnline.com's gallery to see the drastic change in the spunky Ray.
Recent photos revealed the 5-foot-3 former kitchen cutie plumped out to a gut-busting 277 pounds! The 48-year-old cook was rail thin in 2003, ballooned by more than 50 pounds in 2008, and then lost nearly all of that by 2009, it was previously reported.
Her figure mushroomed again — putting her health at risk, according to top doctors. Ray gained "over 105 pounds," said Dr. Stuart Fischer, who had not treated her. "It's grotesque — especially coming from a supposed health expert and diet guru! The excess pounds she's now carrying bring the definite possibility of high cholesterol, diabetes, heart failure or even cancer."
Plastic surgeon Dr. Otto Placik also warned Ray's roller-coastering weight put the roly-poly chef at a risk for high blood pressure and other cardiovascular issues. "That amount of weight gain in a relatively short time is very unhealthy and can put sudden stress on the heart," says Dr. Placik, who had not treated Ray, but did review recent photos of the star.
"All of these are life-threatening and the result of her own poor habits!" Dr. Placik warned about Ray's weight gain.

Her sinking career could have been to blame. After taking the daytime TV world by storm in 2006 and averaging about 2.6 million viewers daily, her audience plunged by more than half to a startling 1.2 million a day. Sources said her show was about to get cancelled. "She's been secretly told by CBS bosses that her syndicated cooking and talk show will not be renewed because her ratings have fallen off so drastically," said a TV insider.
But the show was just half of a double whammy rocking the former first lady of food! The insider told RadarOnline.com: "One look at Rachael and you can see that she's given up and thrown in the towel."
A divorce would have cost Ray a fortune. Cusimano, an entertainment lawyer, could have walked away with half of Ray's billion-dollar homemaking empire if they ever split, since he helped cook up many of her big-bucks deals!
Ray's cousin Gina Mesnick told RadarOnline.com that the pair had major clashes. "Rachael kicks him out when they fight. And the next time could be for good." Ray's rep claimed the marriage is on solid footing.
