Kenya In Crisis! Moore Struggles With Marital & Mom Pressures On New Season Of ‘RHOA’
Sept. 5 2019, Updated 12:00 p.m. ET
Kenya Moore’s marital and mom troubles blew up while she was filming the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
“Kenya had a meltdown,” an insider revealed of the 48-year-old reality star. “She is really struggling being basically a single mom" since her husband, Marc Daly, works so much in New York City.
Kenya and Marc secretly tied the knot in 2017, and she was fired from RHOA after keeping her new relationship a secret.
She returned to the Bravo hit for Season 12 with promises to share her new life with fans on the small screen, but the insider said the reality star's had a tough time while shooting.
“She said on camera how much she was having to deal with, and the pressure was really intense,” the source said. “She was in crisis mode and really broke down while filming. It was intense.”
The insider explained the root of Kenya's problems had to do with dealing with her baby daughter Brooklyn alone.
“Kenya feels like she is doing all of the parenting in the relationship, and it is overwhelming for her,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
“Marc has only been to Atlanta a few times to film with Kenya and the baby, but he doesn’t live there and he isn’t there full-time,” the source continued. “Kenya is in a long distance relationship and that is hard as a mom, as a wife, and as someone on a reality show."
Still, while she struggles to cope, Kenya’s unconventional marriage is getting plenty of airtime on RHOA.

Back On Camera
Kenya’s return to RHOA began with her fighting with OG star NeNe Leakes — but her own personal drama took over her storyline.
Pay Cut
As RadarOnline.com previously revealed, Kenya took a $1 million pay cut to return as a “friend” of the show, earning only $500,000 for her appearances.
Where’s Daddy
Kenya’s hubby is all about working at his Brooklyn restaurant, SOCO, sparing him little time to spend in Atlanta with her and the baby, the insider told RadarOnline.com.
The Single Life
“Kenya is all alone," the source noted. "It is a lot to take care of baby Brooklyn by herself, and she shared that on camera.”
Under Pressure
“Kenya is an open book this season and she’s sharing everything she feels, especially how as a new mom she is feeling a lot of pressure,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
Kiss & Tell
Kenya and Marc refused to share their romance on camera at first, but she convinced producers to let her come back with the promise of full access to her life.
Seasoned Veteran
“Kenya is a pro and she knows what is good TV and she is delivering,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
