Katharine McPhee and her much older fiancé David Foster were in romantic Italy again on Friday. It's a special spot for the two, who shocked fans by getting engaged there. McPhee, 34, and Foster, 68, attended the 15th Century Renaissance Villa le Rose in Florence for charity fundraiser Celebrity Fight Night on Friday. Are they making wedding plans soon? Date night! McPhee and Foster got glamorous for the September 7 event in Italy. They got engaged in July in Capri.
Singer/actress McPhee, whose show Scorpion wasn't renewed for a new season, wore a black dress with a plunging neckline and spaghetti-string straps.
Famed producer/arranger Foster looked dapper in a wine colored jacket and black shirt. Foster is old enough to be McPhee's father and was previously married four times, including to former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster. He and McPhee confirmed their engagement news on Tuesday, July 3.
In an American Idol reunion, McPhee and Foster socialized with Pia Toscano, 29, at the bash in Florence.
Guests saw performances from Matteo Bocelli, Amos Bocelli and Kristin Chenoweth at the party which was part of a seven-day charity fundraiser. The trip for McPhee, Foster, and the other participants included stays at ancient palaces and gourmet food. It was perfect for the loving couple!
Foster's daughters, who are around McPhee's age, recently told Page Six, "I think we're too old to be bridesmaids."
McPhee flaunted herself wearing her huge diamond engagement ring from Foster on Instagram.
Sadly, McPhee's dad Daniel passed away recently and won't be able to walk her down the aisle when she marries "I Have Nothing" co-writer Foster./But the pretty songstress said her father had approved of her relationship with Foster!
