Kailyn Lowry has slammed Teen Mom 2 in the past, but now she’s spilling even more tea in her new book! In A Letter of Love, the MTV star accused the series of lying and contributing to the end of her marriage to Javi Marroquin.

Lowry explained how her son Isaac, now 8, was born into chaos, as the delivery room was full of loved ones, including the 16 and Pregnant crew. “They lie by the way,” she said. “In order for them to be there, we had to tell the hospital staff that they were my cousins who wanted to film the birth. Looking back, that was kind of f**ked up.”
She then talked about the demise of her marriage to husband Javi Marroquin, who she shares son Lincoln, 4, with. “I think things would have been completely different if we didn’t have the pressure of all of our viewers from the show and from so many outside opinions,” Lowry penned. “Reality television is a very strange thing to be a part of, especially in the way that we are involved. Our family’s demise was caught between the editing to make the shows make sense to the viewers and the paychecks that we were hard pressed to get.”
Lowry, 26, even apologized to her fans, as she explained that she has not come across true to herself during filming. “There have been times when I’ve appeared ‘cold’ because I was scared to be transparent and open,” she wrote. “In some moments, I didn’t want to cry or look a certain way, but in the end, it has backfired on me. I’ve looked at past seasons, and I think to myself that I am not the b***h that I appeared to be. I’m a compassionate person who is emotionally weak, but I often try to hide or shield myself from hurt.”
The mother-of-three added, “When I try to protect these emotions and not be open and raw, I create a barrier between who people believe me to be and who I am. People hate me because they think that I am so heartless and calculated, but that’s not me at all. I would give the shirt off my back to someone in need, however, not a lot of people realize that about me.”
In an except obtained by Radar, Lowry opened up about how she knew she would regret marrying Marroquin. “We were fighting constantly and not even sleeping in the same bed,” she said. “I was overcome and filled with doubt at all times. I was trying to convince myself that things would get better in time, but they never did. The reality was that I had been in search of a lie, and it wasn’t because we didn’t love each other. I would venture to say that it was because it was never meant to be. I was in search of happiness, but I kept coming up short.”
