Derick Dillard lost his spot on Counting On after attacking transgender star Jazz Jennings – but is he losing his wife too? Jill Duggar was caught on camera breaking her family's strict rules amid her husband's controversial behavior!
TLC cut ties with Dillard, 28, after he attacked the I Am Jazz star because she is transgender. "I pity Jazz," Dillard tweeted of Jennings, who was diagnosed with gender identity disorder at 4 years old and transitioned from a male to a female. "4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child. It's sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what's on TV these days."
Hours later, TLC tweeted: "We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future. We want to reiterate that Derick's personal statements do not reflect the views of the network. TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so."
Dillard responded to the firing by lashing out over social media again! "Our culture has accepted two huge lies," the quote began. "The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don't have to compromise conviction to be compassionate."
Although his wife has yet to address the scandal on social media, she is responding through her fashion! Duggar was caught on camera wearing jeans for the first time at a theme park while taking photos with fans.
Pants go against the Duggar family's modest dress code, as matriarch Michelle Duggar has spoken out about how the women only wear dresses and long skirts.
