Briana defended her friend and said that she was supporting her as the tragic situation unfolded on her rural North Carolina property.
Jenelle said she was “devastated” and “heartbroken” over her pet’s death, but David was adamant that what he did was the right thing.
Briana told RadarOnline.com that her “heart is breaking” over the situation.

“I am very disturbed to hear about the alleged dog incident,” Briana said about David killing the dog, which he admitted in a shocking Instagram post.
“I don’t care who you are, but hurting animals is not okay and my heart is breaking over this,” she told RadarOnline.com.
Briana told RadarOnline.com that Jenelle was struggling with decisions about her future with her husband of two years.
“I have been in communication with Jenelle a ton lately and I know there is a lot of pressure on her because of her wanting to keep her family intact and wanting to keep her career/job on the show in tact as well,” Briana explained.
“I support her in every way I can, and she knows that I am here for her however she needs,” Briana said about her Teen Mom 2 co-star.
“I think there are obvious concerns regarding David and regarding children being around him,” Briana admitted.
“I do believe at the end of the day Jenelle is going to be connected to him regardless of what may come because of their daughter Ensley,” Briana told RadarOnline.com.
“I know she wants her family and I am here for her in any way she needs me as she attempts to figure out her next steps,” Briana said.
Briana told RadarOnline.com the dog’s death didn’t have an impact on her relationship with Jenelle. “I will always have her back as she’s a true friend of mine regardless of my thoughts on David and what has or hasn’t gone down,” she said.stagram.
RadarOnline.com previously reported that the state of Jenelle’s marriage was up in the air.
“Jenelle is definitely considering divorcing David after he killed her dog,” a source close to the MTV star told RadarOnline.com.
Us Weekly was the first to report on the potential divorce.
A third source told RadarOnline.com that Jenelle was apprehensive about filing because she’s “scared” of her husband after the vicious slaying of her dog.
The Columbus County Sheriff's Office teamed up with Columbus County Animal Control. David confessed to killing the dog, sharing a video where his daughter leaned into the dog on the sofa and he defensively snapped back.
“I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face... whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s**t at all,” David wrote as justification for the killing on his Instagram.
