Jenelle Evans lashed out at her baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, when she found out that there is a warrant out for his arrest. Click through the gallery to find out about their shocking custody showdown as the Teen Mom couple battles over their young son, Kaiser, 2.
Evans was awarded primary physical custody of Kaiser, but was headed back to court this week to fight Griffith over the status of their son. She shared exclusive photos of baby Kaiser with RadarOnline.com and in this one he is playing with his older brother, Jace Evans.
Just as the custody battle exploded, there was more trouble for Griffith. According to a police report obtained by RadarOnline.com from the Myrtle Beach Police Department, Griffith was accused of aggravated assault against his ex-girlfriend, Jessica Henry, on December 12, 2016 at 4:15 am. "Upon arrival the victim stated she had a history with the offender who is her ex-boyfriend," the reporting officer wrote. "The victim stated that tonight they were at a bar together and got into a verbal dispute." There is currently a warrant out for his arrest.
After RadarOnline.com broke the news of the warrant, Evans told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the police had not contacted her searching for Griffith, and that she had not spoken to him or Henry since the incident. She and Henry previously battled in court in April 2016, after Evans was accused of throwing a glass at Henry. As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, the jury found Evans not guilty of the charges.
The Teen Mom 2 stars have been arguing over Griffith's visitation with Kaiser, and Evans has refused to let him take their son unless he was supervised. In response, Evans told RadarOnline.com that Griffith threatened her, stating that he would contact police if she didn't let him see their son. Griffith did not respond to RadarOnline.com's request for comment.
"He threatened to show up with the cops if I don't let him take Kaiser overnight," Evans told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "I told him he can if he wants and I'll let the police know how mentally unstable and now dangerous it is."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Evans filed a motion to request sole physical custody of Kaiser this week, and is scheduled to appear in court on January 4, 2016, for mediation in the case.
Evans is refusing to back down, and says she will not allow Griffith to take Kaiser from her house without supervision. She told RadarOnline.com that the warrant for his arrest will be a major part of her argument at her January court hearing.
"Since I already filed for full custody there's not much to do until we go to court," Evans told RadarOnline.com. "He can come visit Kaiser supervised by me until court, because I'm worried for Kaiser's well-being under Nathan's care."
In a heartbreaking example of the estrangement from his father, Evans told RadarOnline.com that Kaiser consistently asks for "Papa," who is Griffith's stepfather.
