Evans’ baby daddy Nathan Griffith and his girlfriend Ashley Lanhardt are “concerned” for Kaiser, 4. “They think everyone should evacuate just to be safe,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “They’d rather her be safe than sorry. They are calling for power outages for weeks at a time. It’s better to be somewhere with power.”
Over the last few months, Evans has been vocal about the issues she’s experienced with her home. “The house guy in Wilmington is trying to say that we put too much dirt on the land to fill our puddles and that we’re making all the water go down under our house,” Evans explained on an episode. “It was flooded to begin with. Our house is sinking basically.” The source added, “Why would you want to stay if there’s problems with the house?”
Griffith is debating staying in South Carolina for the storm, as his mother Doris Davidson and stepfather also don’t plan to evacuate. “And just in case for some reason he needs to get Kaiser,” the insider added.

Evans’ son Jace, 9, who her mother Barbara has custody of, is also going to be in the 26-year-old and her husband David Eason’s care during the hurricane. “Barbara is evacuating,” a second source told RadarOnline.com. “She’s driving six hours north to escape the hurricane because she’s right in the path.” According to the insider, Barbara said her daughter and grandson “will be fine.”
The mother-of-three shared how she is getting ready for Hurricane Florence over Twitter. “Preparing for this hurricane and wow got the LAST 100ft extension cords from the hardware store. Everything is going to quick,” she tweeted, adding, “Already have a power outage. Trying to wash clothes and get ready for this hurricane. What else is this day going to consist of?”
Evans was hit with backlash by fans for not evacuating. “I do not live in the evacuation zone or a flood area," she defended, adding, “Please pray for my family, land and other families!” According to ABC11, Evans’ county is not on the mandatory evacuation list.
