Jenelle Evans continues to cause controversy. The Teen Mom 2 star and her husband posted insensitive memes about the Florida school shooting despite David Eason's firing when he defended gun control after the massacre.
Evans, 25, posted a meme that read, "Emma Gonzalez puffing vape smoke into a classmate's face after calling him a racial slur." Gonzalez is a survivor of the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 dead. She has been an outspoken advocate for gun control.
When a fan commented on the meme, "Geeze how stupid can you be?" Evans fired back, "It's called sarcasm. It's a joke."
But her husband added to the controversy, as he posted his own meme that read, "This girl needs to be locked up for her roll sic in the shootings. She openly admitted to bullying Nikolas Cruz for 3 years for being weird. Now she is the spokesman for gun control." The theory is a conspiracy that has been circulating around the Internet. Reports have claimed it's false.

When Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout posted an article about the memes, Evans went off! "I'm sorry Maci, I'm blocking you," she wrote. "This is ridiculous!"
She then defended her husband over his Teen Mom 2 firing by retweeting, "You're not allowed a sense of humor for some reason. David shared his opinions and was fired. Ryan threatened the lives of cast members and isn't facing punishment. I would want answers about that!"
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Bookout and her husband Taylor McKinney hit Ryan Edwards, who was arrested on March 27 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, for a March 2017 simple possession of heroin charge, with protection orders. Bookout claimed in her order, "He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don't answer my phone." In McKinney's filing he alleged of Edwards, "He threatened to show up at my house and put a bullet in my dead." Both orders were granted until a court hearing on May 21.
Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 after he posted a photo of his wife holding a rifle only hours after the school shooting. He refused to take the photo down and defended gun control. When he received backlash from followers, he made homophobic comments. "Lmao why don't you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals? Oh I forgot that's supposed to be moral."
Evans then revealed that she has joined the National Rifle Association. "I joined the NRA today," she posted. "Hate me if you will… but I will protect my family." Her husband posted, "When government takes away citizens' right to bear arms it becomes citizens' duty to take away government's right to govern."
