The writing is on the wall.
Jenelle Evans was desperately trying to save her job in the weeks leading up to David Eason killing her dog, begging MTV to let her film with her co-star Briana DeJesus, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
An insider spilled the details to Radar of Jenelle pleading with the network that made her famous to let her film again after a year of terrifying gun-related incidents that scared the production crew and executives so much that they were planning to fire her.
“No one was filming with Jenelle in North Carolina because they were too afraid of David,” the show source told Radar.
“And she begged MTV to let her film with Briana again in Florida and they shut her down.
“Jenelle was told that MTV would not pay for her to go to Florida and they weren’t filming her with Briana.”
As Radar readers know, David killed her dog Nugget after he claimed that the dog “snapped” at their daughter Ensley, 2.
Jenelle’s firing from the network was in the works when the shocking murder of the small dog took place, the show source told Radar.

“Jenelle was worried that she was getting fired when she had no filming scheduled,” the insider told Radar.
“She asked MTV if she could at least film with Briana before David killed her dog ,” the source confirmed.
“It was about one or two weeks before David killed the dog,” the source confirmed to Radar.
“She filmed with Briana before and she hoped that could happened again,” the source told Radar.
The network stood their ground. “MTV told her no. They said they weren’t paying for her to go to Florida and they weren’t filming her with Briana like she did last season.”
“MTV execs have been talking about firing Jenelle as early as this week,” the source spilled.
Jenelle had a clue that there was trouble for her, the insider explained. “The crew and staff refused to come to North Carolina. So Jenelle was afraid that if she didn’t give them an option she was going to get fired.”
An insider previously told Radar that “Jenelle hasn’t filmed once since the reunion. Crews are filming with the other girls, but not her.”
MTV fired David from the show in early 2018 after a homophobic rant and refused to allow him near the production staff since then.
“Jenelle can’t even go on vacation with just her kids to film,” the insider told Radar. “She doesn’t want to go without David and David won’t let her go without him.”
Jenelle quickly returned to The Land after David killed her dog Nugget in the woods, posting photos back on the property.
Radar previously reported that MTV was ready to fire Jenelle before the dog killing incident.
Briana was upset that David killed her dog, telling Radar: “I am very disturbed to hear about the alleged dog incident."
Briana didn’t defend David, saying: “I don’t care who you are, but hurting animals is not okay and my heart is breaking over this.”
Briana knew that Jenelle feared for her job after David killed the dog. “I have been in communication with Jenelle a ton lately and I know there is a lot of pressure on her because of her wanting to keep her family intact and wanting to keep her career/job on the show in tact as well,” Briana explained. “I know she wants her family and I am here for her in any way she needs me as she attempts to figure out her next steps,” Briana told Radar.
