Jenelle Evans & David Eason’s Kids Walk To Court Hand-In-Hand For Custody War
June 27 2019, Updated 3:15 p.m. ET
Jenelle Evans and David Eason arrived to Columbus County Court on Thursday, June 27 for yet another court hearing in their bitter custody war.
Also in attendance today were Jenelle’s mother Barbara and her son Jace, 9, David’s daughter Maryssa, 11, from a previous marriage and their daughter Ensley, 2.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Child Protective Services removed all of their children from their care after David admitted to shooting and killing family dog Nugget. The incident resulted in Jenelle's firing from Teen Mom 2.

Shocking Video
In the video, Jenelle, 27, and David, 31, are spotted walking to the North Carolina courthouse for the second hearing this week.
Court Ready
Jenelle wore a red blazer and black pants for the hearing, as she topped the look off with black heels. Her husband wore a navy blue blazer and a tie. Both remained silent as they walked to court.
United Front
Jenelle and David’s children then entered the courthouse.
Sticking Together
Barbara, who has Jace and Ensley in her custody, held her toddler granddaughter’s hand while walking into the courthouse. David’s daughter Maryssa is also holding her half-sister’s hand, as her guardian accompanied her.
More Court
This is the second court hearing this week. Jenelle and David attended a hearing on Tuesday, June 25. “Maryssa spoke at the hearing,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “There is a new judge.”

Another source previously told RadarOnline.com that the custody war will “go on for months.” “Today was a pre-adjudication hearing,” the insider said. “Then there will be a adjudication hearing and an outcome.” An adjudication hearing is when the CPS agency attempts to prove the allegations.
Kid-Free Summer
The source added, “Each can take days, which turns into months.”
Court Ruling
In May, a judge told Jenelle that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care.” The source previously told RadarOnline.com, “The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified.”
Bad Environment
The insider added, “CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy and there were holes in all of the walls.”
Limited Time
The fired Teen Mom 2 stars have supervised visitation with the children once a week for an hour.
Epic Fight
When the group attended court in early June, Jenelle got into a blowout fight with her mom Barbara during a break. Jenelle refused to let go of her 2-year-old daughter, who seemingly wanted to be with her mother. Jenelle also accused her brother, who lives with Barbara, of posting a video of Ensley crying on social media.
Happier Alone?
During their weeks without the children, they have traveled to Washington D.C. multiple times. Jenelle has also been focusing on her farm and makeup line.
