Custody War Explodes! Jenelle’s Baby Daddy Nathan & Stepdaughter’s Mom Attend Hearing

It was a full house in Columbus County Court on Thursday, June 27, as nearly everyone involved in Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s nasty custody war attended the second hearing this week.
Child Protective Services removed Maryssa, 11, Kaiser, 4, and Ensley, 2, from their care after David shot and killed the family dog. Jenelle’s mom Barbara, who has full custody of Jace, 9, was advised to stop their weekend visits.
In exclusive photos obtained by RadarOnline.com, nearly all of the former Teen Mom 2 stars’ children and guardians were in attendance. Scroll down to see photos from the bombshell court hearing.
Court Time
Jenelle, 27, and David, 31, left the courthouse after a long hearing in their ongoing custody battle.
Baby Daddy Drama
Nathan Griffith, who is father to son Kaiser, and his girlfriend Ashley Lanhardt were also photographed leaving court.
Maryssa’s Mom
David had full custody of daughter Maryssa, 11, from a previous marriage. She is currently in the care of her grandmother. Shockingly, her mother Whitney and her stepfather were spotted attending the court hearing.
Speaking Up
As RadarOnline.com reported, Maryssa testified at the hearing that took place on Tuesday, June 25th in front of a new judge.
Court Drama
“Today was a pre-adjudication hearing,” an insider previously told RadarOnline.com. “Then there will be a adjudication hearing and an outcome.” An adjudication hearing is when the CPS agency attempts to prove the allegations.
Bitter War
The insider added the court battle is expected to “go on for months.” “Each can take days, which turn into months,” the source said.
Bad Decision
CPS removed all of the children from their care in May after David shot and killed their family dog Nugget. The shooting resulted in Jenelle’s firing from Teen Mom 2.
Monster Mom
At the May hearing, the judge told Jenelle that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care.” The source previously told RadarOnline.com, “The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified.”
Bad Environment
The insider added, “CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy and there were holes in all of the walls.”
Improving
Jenelle and David have been taking steps to regain custody. “She signed up for parenting classes and marriage counseling,” the source said. “They’re looking to get David a psych evaluation for court."
Limited Time
The ex reality stars are able to visit the children once a week for an hour at child protective services.
United Front
Jenelle’s son Jace, 9, who has been in her mom Barbara’s custody since he was a baby, and her daughter with David, Ensley, 2, also attended the hearing.
