The drama started on Valentine’s Day when Eason posted a photo of Evans holding a rifle only hours after the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida that left 17 dead. When he received backlash from fans, he went on a homophobic rant. “Lmao why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals? Oh I forgot that’s supposed to be normal,” Eason disturbingly tweeted.

Although MTV released in a statement that Eason has been fired from Teen Mom 2, he continued to make controversial comments about gun control. “When government takes away citizens’ right to bear arms it becomes citizens’ duty to take away government’s right to govern,” he posted of a George Washington quote. He also wrote, “Legal gun owners have over 200M guns and 12 trillion rounds of ammo. Seriously people, if we were a problem you’d know it.”

He then went after their Teen Mom 2 co-star Leah Messer. “I can’t believe Corey would allow her to wear that much makeup.” Messer responded, “I take opinions lightly cause I don’t give a fuuuu. Especially, if you’re irrelevant to my life.” Her co-star Kailyn Lowry came to her defense by tweeting, “David, take that energy you have on IG and out it towards something else like your own kids.” Messer retweeted the message.

But it doesn’t seem she’s moving out. Eason is listed as a “grantor” on the deed, as she is listed as the “grantee.”

Evans also came to her husband’s defense over his drama with Messer. “David went to Leah’s Instagram account and commented on her daughter’s cheerleading makeup,” she ranted. “To me it looks pretty heavy, to my friends it looked heavy, so David was the only one who commented on it. He commented on some cheerleading makeup, and you guys are sending him death threats. Do you understand how wrong that is? So sorry if my husband got on your account and commented. Maybe you should block him or delete him. Then you won’t see his comments anymore. Problem solved. David never said he was against makeup at all, he was just saying she had way too much on. That contouring was like there!”

Evans also proved they’re still going strong with an Instagram post. “You know how I like it when you lovin’ on me,” she captioned a photo of Eason kissing her.
