After a quick, three-month engagement, Ivanka and the New York Observer publisher said, "I do," in a lavish celebration that looked like it took years to plan.

"I've always envisioned myself having an elegant wedding," Ivanka said. And it was! Just six days before her 28th birthday, Ivanka wowed the room with a custom made Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly and more than $265,000 worth of jewels.

She exchanged vows with Jared, then 28, in the Oct. 25 ceremony at her father Donald Trump's National Golf Club in Bedminster, N. J. "She has impeccable style," wedding planner Preston Bailey said. "The inspiration for my design for her ceremony were hues of classic white with accents of pink and gold and sensuous red spaces."

In true Trump fashion, Ivanka and Jared's cake was larger than life. "It was 70 inches high, with 16 layers of carrot, chocolate, almond and yellow butter cake," baker Sylvia Weinstock said. "We made beautiful flowers, lilies of the valley, roses, peonies, hydrangeas, weeks in advance, but the cake was made fresh the day before the wedding. It was one of a kind. Ivanka and Jared were easy to work with and are a lovely couple."

Each of the wedding guests received a personalized favor: a pair of white Havaianas flip-flops with the bride and groom's names on them. Ivanka's mother, Ivana, and her bridesmaids, half-sister Tiffany and sister-in-law Vanessa, each got a pair encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

Ivanka's big day was so nice, she and Jared decided to do it twice! The couple planned to celebrate again on Oct. 28, with 1,000 guests at NYC's Puck Building. No one beamed more proudly than dad Donald, who toasted the couple by saying, "Be happy and enjoy your life," said an insider. "He's delighted his daughter found such a well placed young man like Jared. He thinks Ivanka chose the perfect lifelong partner."
