Newly single Huma Abedin, 41, was spotted taking care of her mommy duties as she walked son Jordan, 5, to school in NYC following her estranged husband’s incarceration.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Anthony Weiner 53, checked into prison early Monday morning after pleading guilty to "transferring obscene materials to a minor” and engaging in sexual conversations with her, despite knowing her age.
"He was cooperative, and is looking forward to getting the help he needs,” a source told RadarOnline.com, adding that the facility — Devens Federal Medical Center in Ayres, Massachusetts — offers specialty treatment for sex offenders.
Weiner will serve 21 months in prison. Afterwards, he will do three years of supervised release and pay a $10,000 fine for his crime.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Weiner’s teenage victim came forward to speak about their sick relationship. "I was disgusted,” she said in a tell-all interview, adding that she had to move cities and uproot her life after the shocking crime.
After FBI found proof of Weiner's sex crime, the former politician admitted that he had a "sickness, but not an excuse," as he apologized to his wife and family.
The day of Weiner's sentencing, Huma Abedin filed for divorce. While the two continued to co-parent their son before Weiner checked into jail, those days have now ended, and Abedin's empty ring finger is proof.
