Parenting Shocker: Although she’s portrayed on TV as an eccentric but loving mother, "Mama" June Shannon allegedly once abandoned her oldest daughter Anna "Chickadee" to run off with a boyfriend, according to a National Enquirer report. Sources said June dumped Anna at her grandmother Sandra Hale’s house so she could move into a trailer with her then-boyfriend. Later, child welfare officials reportedly stepped in and awarded sole custody of Anna to Sandra.

Fake Living Arrangements For TV?: Single teen mom Anna “Chickadee” lived with her grandmother Sandra Hale until the Shannon/Thompson clan got a TV deal to do Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, National Enquirer sources said. Then Mama June wanted her oldest daughter back in her own family nest! "Anna lived with Sandra until…June bribed her with $500 a month to move back in with the family and be on the TV show," said a source. "They thought that Anna's illegitimate teenage pregnancy would make for good story lines for the show."

June’s Scandalous Relationships: Mama June has four daughters with four different men she hasn’t married, and at least three of them have prison records, according to the National Enquirer. And June has refused to let Anna's father, ex-con David Dunn, or Jessica's dad, ex-con Michael Anthony Ford, see their children, sources said.

Unexpected Visit: Production "nearly came to a screeching halt" during the first season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo when Georgia's Division of Family and Children Services visited the Thompson family, according to the National Enquirer.  Authorities were concerned after seeing footage on YouTube of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” dancing on a college ba.  No charges were ever filed, and Mama June vowed, “I’m not gonna put Alana in that situation again.”

After Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson tossed a set of car keys to Lauryn, they accidentally hit her in the eye, sources said.  Lauryn was rushed to a local hospital and kept overnight for a scratched cornea and blood from the cut under her eye.

She never married her alleged baby daddy, Caleb Clark, and was last reported to be dating Mitch Brewer. According to the National Enquirer, Anna saw Brewer, whose family owns a roller rink and construction companies, “as her way to escape from the family.”
