As RadarOnline.com reported, Ford departed from Santa Monica airport around 2 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, and crashed at Penmar Golf Course in Venice, Calif., soon after.

According to reports, Ford suffered gashes on his head and was transferred to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

An L.A. City Fire spokesperson said at a press conference on Thursday afternoon that he was in "fair to moderate condition" at the scene.

"The victim was conscious and breathing," the spokesperson said.

EMTs "were able to start I.V. protocol," according to the rep.

The spokesperson declined to identify Ford as the victim, but his rep said they would release a written statement shortly.
