After four years of trying to conceive, Gretchen Rossi, 40, and Slade Smiley, 45, are going to be parents in the Spring! And although the couple could not be more happy with the news, Rossi told Radar that morning sickness is no joke!
"Unless I was required to participate in an event I have been in bed most days sick as a dog with nausea, fatigue, and been short of breath just from going up the stairs," admitted the stunner.
"Morning sickness is definitely all-day sickness," she added.
After discovering she was carrying, Rossi couldn't contain her baby joy and took to Instagram to voice her happiness. "Yes, the news is true! We are beyond ecstatic to finally announce that we are expecting a little bundle of joy! Our hearts are so full right now! It was one of the happiest days of my life when we received the incredible news that I was pregnant."
"It has been the hardest secret in the world to keep. I was bursting at the seams to tell you all! And actually many of you were already guessing and saying I was glowing like I was preggo! Well you were right! So, we are thrilled to finally be able to share the good news with everyone," Rossi told her fans.
As Radar previously reported, Rossi and Smiley had a tough time conceiving. Over the past few years, the couple tried multiple procedures, including IVF, to no avail. They were not shy about their attempts, however, and shared their entire journey on The Doctors.
