“This is the heaviest Gerard’s ever been, and he’s freaking out about how to lose the weight,” an insider confided to RadarOnline.com.
Butler, 47, has had a roller coaster relationship with his body, losing lots of weight for a movie last year, only to pack it all back on, and then some.
Sources close to the 300 star say he might be forced to seek specialized treatment, to make sure his scale doesn’t share the title of his most famous film.
“He has such trouble sticking to a regular diet and fitness program these days, so fat camp’s a serious option if he can’t summons that willpower.”
As for Brown, she most recently has been hooking up with the svelte Liev Schreiber. And insiders say if Butler wants her back, he better work on his bod.
“Morgan’s not being cruel, but she’s told Gerard it’s for his own health and self-esteem that he gets back in shape,” the insider said. “And she’s not lied about finding his gut a major turnoff in the bedroom, either.”
