On Saturday, March 24, Reynolds attended the screening of his films Gator and The End at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica.
Reynolds slowly took his seat at the event during which his fans rallied around him and took a trip down memory lane by watching his hit 1970s movies. In that decade, Burt was in his prime!
The mustachioed actor, who later revived his career with the film Boogie Nights, was hobbling along. He used a cane and leaned on a male friend during the screening.

Reynolds told fans that he had earlier met up with his long-time friend, Clint Eastwood.
Reynolds raised eyebrows last week with a bizarre Today Show interview with Hoda Kotb. In it, the former sex symbol said he fell in love with actress Sally Field when she was just seven years old!
Also in his oddball Today interview, Reynolds said of his old flame that he wanted Field to star with him in Smokey and the Bandit but directors told him she wasn't "sexy" enough. "I said you don't get it, talent is sexy," Reynolds recalled. She got the part and went on to win two Oscars. Still, despite his health woes, you can't keep former action star Reynolds down! He recently celebrated his 82nd birthday on Feb. 11 surrounded by close friends--and he basked in his fans' love at the movie screening this weekend.
