The Florida school shooting devastated the nation this Valentine’s day. Now, more details about suspected killer Nikolas Cruz have come to light.

As RadarOnline.com has learned, the 19-year-old Valentine’s shooter, was armed with at least one AR-15 rifle and had “multiple magazines” at the time of the massacre, according to a local sheriff. He also had multiple smoke grenades and was wearing a gas mask when he left the school.

According to a report, authorities believe Cruz may have pulled a fire alarm inside the school in order to get more students out into the hallways and raise the death toll.

After allegedly killing 17 and injuring at least 50, he “concealed himself in the crowd and was among those running out of the school,” according to authorities.

While the tragic killing came as a horrific shock to family and staff, various classmates claimed they were not surprised that it was Cruz.

Matthew Walker, a student at the school, revealed to WFOR-TV that all his classmates “knew it was going to be him.”

“A lot of people were saying it was going to be him,” the 17-year-old student said. “A lot of kids threw jokes around saying that he was going to be the one to shoot up the school. It turns out that everyone predicted it. That’s crazy.”

The suspected shooter was expelled from the school just last year, after reportedly starting a fight about his ex-girlfriend. He had apparently become aggressive towards her and even began “stalking her,” at one point, according to a Florida school teacher.

The Valentine’s killer had also previously shown his fascination for guns all over social media, and was known for his dark personality and obsession with killing small animals. Nikolas Cruz has now been charged with 17 counts of murder, and has yet to enter a plea.
