Smiling Fergie Ditches Wedding Ring Ahead Of Divorce Announcement

Fergie, 42, was spotted at the Rio de Janeiro airport without her wedding ring!
The “Fergalicious” singer was in good spirits while talking to a group of people around her.
She later showed off her fist — and her ring was still off her finger!
Fergie and Duhamel, 44, announced their split on Sept. 14 in a statement: “With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year. To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”
The actor and the singer exchanged vows on January 10, 2009, just months after Duhamel allegedly cheated on her with a stripper.
When you go through difficult times, it really makes you stronger as a unit, as a partnership. It does for us, anyways. Our love today is a deeper love, definitely,” the former Black Eyed Peas member said at the time. “We’re stronger today definitely because of anything difficult that’s happened with us. We deal with it, we communicate; communicating’s the most important thing.”
