On The Run? Farrah Abraham Avoids Getting Served In $101K Unpaid Rent Legal War
Aug. 2 2019, Updated 8:48 p.m. ET
Farrah Abraham was sued in February 2019 for over $101,000 after she allegedly failed to pay rent when her two stores Furnished by Farrah and Sophia Laurent Children's Boutique closed down.
Unfortunately for the Plaintiff, attempts to serve the fired Teen Mom OG star with legal papers have failed, as she has managed to evade receiving the legal documents.
Court papers exclusively obtained by RadarOnline.com reveal the Plaintiff is now asking a judge for permission to serve Abraham's father or another member of her family to get the case moving along.

Sued!
In court papers obtained from Travis County Court, FHF 1 Oaks at Lakeway sued Abraham, 28, and her ex-boyfriend Simon Saran for $101,212.50 on February 13, 2019 after they allegedly failed to pay rent on the Austin, Texas stores.
Pay Up!
"At the end of September 2018, F&S ceased business operations and abandoned both Suite 300 and Suite 400," the court papers read. "In addition, F&S failed to make the required monthly payments under the First Lease and Second Lease. On October 3, 2018, Plaintiff gave notice to F&S that if F&S failed to pay all outstanding amounts by October 10, 2018, F&S would be in default."
Not Giving In
An attorney for Abraham said they have "no intentions on making any further payments under either lease agreement." The lawsuit continued, "Despite written demand for payment, Defendants Abraham and Saran failed, refused and continue to refuse to pay Plaintiff the amounts due and owing under the First Lease and the Second Lease. This failure to pay the amounts due and owing constitutes a material breach of the Guaranties."
Trouble Serving Farrah
In court papers filed on July 24, 2019, the Plaintiff filed a Motion for Substitute Service on Defendant Farrah Abraham. "Plaintiff has attempted to serve Abraham multiple times via hand delivery at multiple locations," the court papers read. "Each attempted service location was based on their (1) Abraham's usual place of business, (2) Abraham's usual place of abode, or (3) other addresses where Abraham could potentially be found."

The Plaintiff claimed serving Abraham is complicated because she is a "transient individual as evidenced by her Instagram account." They then explained how Abraham has been in Dubai, California, Iowa, New York, Mexico, Texas and Nevada in recent months. The Plaintiff has even monitored her Instagram account to find her current location. "For example, Plaintiff tried to serve Abraham when it saw she was in Austin at Terry Black's BBQ, but by the time the process server arrived, Abraham had left."
Desperate Measures
The Plaintiff is asking the Court to authorize service by leaving a copy of the citation with anyone over 16 years old at her father Michael's home. The Plaintiff is also asking to be able to attach a copy of the Citation to the main entrance of her dad's Austin, Texas house.
No Luck
In Exhibit 1, a process server attempted to give Abraham the lawsuit at her father's home on March 6 and March 9. On the second visit, a man, who is likely Michael, told the server to "get off the property and not to come back." "I said the defendant was listed as registered agent for F&S by Farrah," the server explained in the court papers. "He said he didn't care and that defendant did not live here. He told me to leave."
Empty Handed
The server then tried another address on March 5, but the address "does not exist." She then tried Abraham's former Austin, Texas home four times on March 12, March 15, March 19, and March 21. On the final try, a couple in their 60s said they bought the home from the reality star a year prior. The server then tried the BBQ restaurant on May 9 with no luck.
More Legal Troubles!
This isn't the only lawsuit against Abraham. As RadarOnline.com broke, her own lawyer sued her in November 2018 for allegedly failing to pay her October bill for $2,577.50. As of April 18, 2019, she also hasn't been served in that case.
Financial Troubles?
Abraham, who is mother to daughter Sophia, 10, was fired from Teen Mom OG because of her return to the adult film industry and her harsh treatment of the crew.
