Trump said Kelly did him a "favor" for pressing him in the August debate: "In a certain way, what you did might have been a favor because I felt so good about having gotten through — I said 'if I get through this debate with those questions you can get through anything.'"
Kelly asked Trump if he was bullied as a child: "No, I wasn't," Trump answered. "But I have seen bullying and bullying doesn't have to just be as a child. I mean, I know people are bullied when they're 55 years old." Kelly then alluded to the to the feud between the two saying, "It could happen when you're 45."

Trump then got personal, opening up about his brother who died of alcoholism at 42. "That was the hardest thing for me to take," he said. "That was very tough, because it's unnatural." Trump revealed that he does not drink because of it.

Trump defended his retweet calling Kelly a bimbo."When you and I were having our little difficulty, you probably had some pretty nasty tweets sent your way," Trump said. "I don't want that to happen, but I have fans — we have an unbelievable bond." Trump then told Kelly, "Over your life, Megyn, you've been called a lot worse. Is that right, wouldn't you say? You know, you've had a life that's not been that easy." But Kelly did not answer Trump's question, instead shooting back, "It's not about me. It's about the messaging…to young girls and to other women."

Trump on being "emotionally" hurt: "When I am wounded, I go after people hard, O.K.? And I try and un-wound myself."

On his respect for Kelly: "I have great respect for you, that you were able to call me and say, 'Let's get together and let's talk.' For me, I would not have done that. I don't see that as a positive. I think it's a negative for me."

As for his Twitter use, Trump said at night, after seven or eight, he will send out tweets personally. Prior to that, he said that he has a number of people he'll "call out a tweet to." Trump then looks the tweets over and often adds an exclamation point before blasting.
