Whoops! Christina Aguilera almost let her genie out of its bottle at the Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show in Paris on Wednesday, July 3.
The near-wardrobe malfunction nearly occurred when the 38-year-old singer arrived in style at the show, dressed in a head-turning silk kimono, black corset belt and thigh-high boots.
“Xtina” is desperate for a little more attention and good publicity after her last album, Liberation, tanked on the charts.
And her subsequent concerts haven’t fared much better. RadarOnline.com can reveal that since kicking off late last year, the pop diva's troubled tour — her first in more than a decade — has been plagued by poor sales, canceled shows and mediocre reviews.
Aguilera is currently overseas performing. When she returns, she’ll continue her residency in Las Vegas with “The Xperience” at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater.
But until then, check out the singer’s bold French fashion choice in this RadarOnline.com gallery.
Designer Woman
Aguilera’s kimono was designed by Gaultier, who put on the show she was attending.
Wardrobe Malfunction
As she exited her ride, the dress spread wide, revealing her long legs and giving a hint of a little more.
Swept Away
Her kimono’s long train flowed across the floor.
Secret Message
It featured a vibrant pattern, with the words “Gaultier” hidden throughout.
Gotta Hand It to Her!
In a show of support, the “What a Girl Wants” singer sported knuckle dusters adorned with the word Gaultier across two hands.
Her Biggest Fan
Inside the show, Aguilera playfully frolicked on the stairs.
Showing Some Love
The pop superstar paused to show all her admirers some love — and leg.
