This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, 37, looked happy as ever while promoting her explosive new book in Philadelphia this Monday. The actress wore a glamorous red and black outfit as she visited the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
Metz's latest appearance came after RadarOnline.com discovered shocking new secrets from her stepfather's shady past.
While Metz claimed Crayton Hodge Jr. physically and emotionally abused her as a child, legal documents shed light on his criminal past.
Court papers obtained from Alachua County Court in Gainsville, state that Hodge, 70, was arrested and charged with one count of soliciting for prostitution on July 27, 1988.
Metz explained how Hodge, who she refers to as "Trigger" in her memoir, "loved" his two biological children and her half-sister Morgana, but her "not so much."
"My body seemed to offend him, but he couldn't help but stare, especially when I was eating," wrote the NBC star. "He joked about putting a lock on the refrigerator. We had lived with a lack of food for so long that when it was there, I felt like I had to eat it before it disappeared. Food was my only happiness."
