Chrissy Metz, 37, shocked fans when she blasted the man who raised her in her new memoir!
In the book, the This Is Us star claimed stepdad Crayton Hodge Jr. physically and emotionally abused her for years, while she lived under his roof.
She also wrote that he seemed "offended" by her curvy body and never lover her like he did her other siblings. He shocking claims came before RadarOnline.com discovered the sleazy man was arrested for soliciting prostitution in his early years.
Metz's sibling also had various run-ins with the law after growing up in the allegedly abusive household.
Apart from making vicious accusations against her stepdad, Metz also wrote in her book that she turned to food for comfort throughout her sad childhood.
She admitted it took a lot of effort and self-discovery for her to overcome her body-image issues and lover herself for who she is.
This Monday, the actress showed up at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts to promote her book in Philadelphia. Now, she's hit the big apple!
