Chelsea Handler's birthday parties get as off the hook as she does, as Los Angeles police early Sunday had to break up her Bel Air bash, as she turned 40.

The A-list bash drew a number of huge names, such as Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Charlize Theron, Sean Penn and of course, her best buddy Jennifer Aniston.
The comic's next door neighbors were reportedly the ones to call the cops over the loud bash.

She wrote, "I'm a legal marijuaner," on her Twitter page.
