"Before He Cheats" singer Carrie Underwood, 35, looked stunning as ever during her first performance following her face injury. The beauty wore a nude and pink gown for her red-carpet appearance, and later changed into a silver mini dress for her on-stage show.
After belting out "Cry Pretty" in front of a large, star-studded audience at the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, Underwood got a minute-long standing ovation!
The blonde bombshell let out a string of tears during her emotional performance, and revealed her reconstructed face in front of her fans, weeks after injuring herself in a nasty fall and getting 40-50 stitches.
"When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different," Underwood wrote on Instagram at the time. Apart from burning her face, the singer also revealed she broke her wrist when falling from her porch of her Nashville home.
Her husband, Canadian professional ice hockey player, Mike Fisher, was not home at the time. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Underwood had to call 911 herself, and was transported to the hospital alone.
Despite the fact that Underwood has been candid about her injury and recovery, various online haters have bashed her for allegedly undergoing plastic surgery following her fall. Some even took to Twitter to voice their disdain after Underwood revealed her face with no visible scar!
