The stars of Carol hit the red carpet for New York City's premiere screening on Monday looking more glamorous than ever—see Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara and more!

Glitz & Glam: the cast of highly anticipated film Carol gathered together for a premiere screening in New York City on Monday.

The dramatic feature's star Cate Blanchett was breathtaking in a unique dark mustard Lanvin dress that featured a peek-a-boo pink corset.

Costar Rooney Mara, who plays Carol's (Blanchett) lesbian lover in the film, looked gorgeous in a black leather dress.

Kyle and Kathryn Chandler arrived arm-in-arm.

Girls star Zosia Mamet attended the screening as well, rocking an angelic white party dress with matching pumps.

The film's director Todd Haynes proudly awaited the film's debut.

Haynes later posed with Cory Michael Smith, Kyle Chandler, and Jake Lacy, all actors in the film.

Alan Cumming brought his unique style to the red carpet, spicing up his muted ensemble with fiery red shoes and a matching scarf.

Sarah Paulson, who portrays Carol's best friend, went with a metallic flare.

Set in in 1950s New York, Carol follows two women from very different backgrounds who find themselves in an unexpected love affair.

Executive producer Harvey Weinstein smiled for cameras in a swanky suit.
