Rapper Cardi B is known for her hits like “Bodak Yellow” and also for her outspoken feelings about her complications with plastic surgery. The “Press” singer has had multiple surgeries with mixed results.

At one point, complications with plastic surgery even caused a pause in the singer’s 2019 tour as was widely reported. Despite this, Cardi B has tried to be honest with fans about her surgeries, posting updates to her own social media accounts in order to be fully transparent about her medical status. The “Money” singer has had several confirmed plastic surgeries over the years, including liposuction, breast augmentation and butt implants. She has also had a second round of additional breast surgery and liposuction.

Cardi B wanted to get back in shape quickly after the birth of her daughter, Kulture, in 2018. According to Us Weekly, the singer was quoted as saying, “I just got my boobs redone. I feel good, but sometimes I feel, like, not, you know? When your skin is stretched out. Yes, my daughter f--ked me up. She did, she so did” in May of 2019.

In addition to discussing her breast augmentation surgery, the Grammy winning performer posted an update to fans on her personal Instagram account detailing some of the complications she was facing from previous plastic surgery procedures including her recent lipo. The photo featured her swollen feet with the caption, “Look how swollen my feet get every time I take a plane imagine my body.”

According to OK!, the star said she was just didn’t “have time to work out.” She added that her “job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro.”

Did Cardi B Tell An Audience About Her Liposuction Issues?

While many celebrities try to keep their plastic surgery issues from the public, Cardi B has consistently been open about hers. She even went as far as to discuss her post surgery situation with thousands of fans during a performance at the Beale Street Music Festival in 2019. She told the audience, “I have some news for y’all. I should have canceled today. I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f--k up my lipo. But b---h I’m still gonna get my motherf--king money back, let’s go!”

Why Did Cardi B Postpone Concert Tour Dates?

While she didn’t want to, ultimately her doctors made it clear that the touring musician should cancel some performances to let her body heal. Shortly after, she posted on her social media accounts that she would be cancelling some shows because, “My breasts gotta f--king heal, and it is what it is. My doctor was like, ‘Yo, you cannot be doing all these shows because you’re not fully healed.’” Luckily, she took the medical advice and got the rest she needed.

While fans will likely be disappointed that they don’t get to see a favorite singer, canceling tour dates also has a lot of business consequences as well. Having to refund thousands of tickets for several shows can add up quickly. According to OK!, Cardi B was most upset about all the money she was going to lose from cancelling shows because of her plastic surgery recovery. On Instagram the singer posted, “You know, I hate canceling shows because I love money.” “I’m a money addict, and I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows … like I’m cancelling millions of dollars in shows.”

How Did Cardi B Respond To Critics Of Her Plastic Surgery?

After announcing her show cancellations, the “Be Careful” singer faced considerable backlash. OK! reported at the time that she said, “People tell me, ‘You lazy, you should just workout.’ I do whatever the f--k I want to do with my body. I don’t have the time of day like you do." She added that her time was not her only consideration, "No matter how much I work out, is not going to get fixed. Like my boobs, no matter how much I work out, they’re not going to lift themselves. So yeah, I have to get f--king surgery. That’s right.”

Will Cardi B Get More Plastic Surgery?

After her recent swelling issues with her liposuction resulting in canceled shows, Cardi B made a bold claim to fans. OK! reported that in June of 2019 the rapper took to Twitter to tell her six million followers that she is never going to get plastic surgery again. She Tweeted, “I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause b---ch I ain’t getting surgery again, but let me tell you I haven’t had a headache ever since."
