Shortly after 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, Pitt arrived at an L.A. office building with his security team in tow.
Wearing a white T-shirt, gray pants, a newsboy cap and carrying documents in his bag, Pitt, 54, looked somber as he headed to the first of two appointments.
“He sat in his car for four to five minutes before getting out once his driver had parked up,” an onlooker told RadarOnline.com of Pitt, who has been going through a bitter divorce battle with Jolie. “I guess he was probably composing himself before these meetings.”
As he emerged from his vehicle, Pitt “seemed tense,” added the eyewitness. “It was as though he had the weight of the world on his mind.”
The Maleficent actress, 43, claimed Pitt is failing to provide sufficient child support for their six children — Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. However, on August 8, Pitt fought back, claiming he has given $9 million to his ex since their split.
After his first meeting, Pitt was driven to a second nearby location, where he entered a building known as a favorite spot for celebrities to meet with legal counsel.
He arrived at the second appointment around 1 p.m. and left two and a half hours later, according to the onlooker, who noted the strain was clear on Pitt’s face. “It had obviously been a long and traumatic day for him,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
