The Moneyball hunk had explained the root of his injury a night before at a Hollywood event for an Autism charity.
Vivienne and Knox have a big birthday coming up this summer, when they turn 7 on July 12.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button actor told People that he suffered the injury when he attempted “to run up steps in the dark, with your arms full, wearing flip flops."
"Turns out if you then try to stop your forward momentum with your face," the Ocean's Eleven star joked, “the result is road rash."
