Beyonce's Mom Gets Married! Her New Husband's Secret Scientology Past Revealed In 10 Clicks

Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles on Sunday married actor Richard Lawson, a man with a Scientologist past, and RadarOnline.com has images of the couple’s yacht celebration.
Knowles, 61, and Lawson, 67, exchanged vows with 300 guests aboard the yacht Eternity Sunday. These shots show the vessel as it returned to shore in Newport Beach, Calif.
The marriage establishes a link between Bey to the Church of Scientology, as Lawson, an actor who appeared on All My Children, has documented ties to the controversial institution.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lawson took two courses with the church -- a "HQS Course" in 1990, and in 1997, a "Personal Values and Integrity Course."
While the HQS -- short for the "Hubbard Qualified Scientologist" -- is considered an introductory course, the Personal Values and Integrity Course is geared toward maintaining one’s "honesty and personal integrity," according to a Scientology website.
Lawson’s association with the church -- which is reeling from the recent release of the documentary Going Clear -- initially raised the "Single Ladies" singer’s eyebrows, according to MSN Australia’s The Fix.
The outlet reported that Lawson "is a practicing Scientologist," which caused "arguing" between the "Crazy In Love" crooner and her mother.
"Beyonce is dead-set against the religion," an insider told the outlet, adding that Jay-Z’s wife was "worried that her mom is getting sucked in." (Reps for Beyonce and Lawson didn’t respond to Radar’s request for comment for our Nov. 2014 story.)
The entire star-studded family, including Bey, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy -- all dressed in white -- as well as Solange, were all on hand for the waterfront wedding.
A veteran of Hollywood for more than 40 years, other notable titles on Lawson’s acting resume include appearances in Dirty Harry, Kojak, All in the Family, Poltergeist and Dynasty.
Wedding guests mingle at the elaborate affair. Tina wore a white gown designed by Romona Keveza, while Lawson wore a white tuxedo.
