Beyonce Instagram Picture Heavily Altered, Photoshop Expert Says
Beyonce's newest album "Lemonade" has sparked controversy around husband Jay Z, but RadarOnline.com has learned she's facing a new photoshop scandal too! While the photo, which was recently posted on Instagram, makes a statement, a Photoshop expert told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the image might not even be considered a photograph anymore!
Fans were quick to criticize the image of Beyonce when W magazine posted it on Monday. It was taken in 2011.

"That picture is pretty funny. The image is so heavily manipulated that it might not even be a photograph at this point. It's more of a caricature," celebrity photographer and Photoshop expert Alan Barry told Radar.

While it is easy to use Photoshop in an obvious and distasteful way, Barry commends the image editor and confessed that although heavily altered, the work was neat and professional.

Still, the changes were overwhelming, he said, especially her thigh gap. "They took a lot of inches off of her waist, off of her thighs, they created a really interesting thigh gap. It's a very perfect, long triangle, its too perfect. I would say it was probably created," he said. "It's possible that there was something there to begin with bit frankly I don't think so."

Even the 34-year-old's face was changed in the magazine's post, he believes. I think the width of her face has been taken down; the width of her nose has been taken down," the expert told Radar. "Her face looks terrible because I think it probably not lit particularly well – I'm surprised."

The expert also claims that Beyonce's right hip area is a dead giveaway. "When you look at the waist, there's a really sort of extreme manipulation. When you blow up an image you start to see what are called jpeg artifacts where there's been editing done." Barry says that there were several artifacts" in this area.

"Her waist on the right side looks unnaturally pulled in. The other side, where her hip is sort of bumped out, that looks relatively normal," he continued. "On what would be her right side, there's a lot of jpeg artifacts that tell you something was being done there."

The yellow background and the lighting also served as a red flag, the expert revealed. "There are some lines in the yellow grainations, which are sort of twisted in a way that would make me think that a liquefying distortion tool was used," he said. "The shadowing on her left thigh, there's some very interesting lines that are almost like a stripe on her leg. That's the result of photo shopping. That's a very peculiar lighting effect that not at all consistent at all with what was going on there."
