Anna Faris seems like the girl next door, but the Mom actress is a little more Hollywood than her fans may realize. In a new interview with RuPaul Charles and Michelle Visage on the RuPaul’s Drag Race host’s podcast, What’s The Tee, Faris went in “full confession” mode and admitted going under the knife for a bigger set of breasts.
Shortly after filming 2008 comedy The House Bunny, Faris, now 40, decided to make like her Playboy model character and get a pair of bigger boobs, she told Charles. “I was like, ‘I’m turning 30,’” she recalled. “I wanted to make a change. So I got my boobs done.”
After feeling “ashamed” and “embarrassed” of her “negative A cup” breasts, she decided to make the jump to a B. “It had nothing to do with the industry,” she insisted. “It was something that I wanted to feel.”
She admitted she also felt ready for a larger chest after meeting “big, strappy dude” Chris Pratt, 37. “I felt a different kind of confidence in my body,” she said. “I loved it.”
While newly dating Pratt, she approached him about her makeover plans. “He said, ‘I think your body’s perfect, but I think you should do whatever makes you happy,’” the mom to Jack, 4, claimed, adding that he was ultimately excited about the surgery. “I said, ‘I think I’m going to do it,’ and he said, ‘YES!’”
She says she got a “jelly” implant that had not yet been approved by the FDA. “That’s what all the Hollywood actresses do, get the experimental ones,” she laughed. “Because what the f**k, we’re all going to die early!”
A surgeon named Dr. Teitelbaum performed the surgery, and now she says she’s very happy with her breasts.
Satisfied with her surgery, Faris and Pratt eventually tied the knot in 2009 after two years of dating. Both stars’ careers have exploded, with Pratt landing 2015 film Jurassic Park, and Faris scoring the lead role of Christy in hit CBS sitcom Mom.
