Angelina Jolie Visits Refugee Camp After Giving Fortune To Son Maddox

Angelina Jolie is known for her humanitarian efforts, and she worked on behalf of the world again on Saturday, June 8.
The actress, 44, spoke to refugees in Colombia and RadarOnline.com has all the photos!
Readers know that Jolie is a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and has spent much of her life making trips in service of the less fortunate. According to reports, her joy for philanthropic causes is said to have rubbed off on her eldest child, son Maddox; a source recently told RadarOnline.com she's left her golden boy with her $16 million fortune.
RadarOnline.com previously reported on their tight bond which started when she met Maddox at an orphanage.
She went on to marry Brad Pitt, who allegedly got into a "drunk" altercation with Maddox during a family flight. Jolie and Pitt are divorcing and the 17-year-old has sided with his mother, an insider said.

The Hollywood star visited refugees who were coerced into fleeing their homes on the Colombian-Venezuelan border and spoke to the international community on their behalf.
Request For Assistance
During a news conference with Colombian President Ivan Duque, Jolie asked for assistance in helping the 20,000 Venezuelan children who were stateless and at risk of losing their basic citizenship rights.
Jolie’s Words
"I've seen for myself the strain being placed on the schools and hospitals and local services, but I have also seen the inspiring humanity being shown by local communities," the Academy Award winning actress said.

She asked for the western world to help those South American countries that have provided homes to the refugees.

"Above all, we agreed on the urgent need of the international community to give more support to Colombia, Peru and Ecuador who are bearing the brunt of this crisis," said Jolie. "So, I am hopeful and optimistic about Colombia's ability to weather these challenges and to emerge even stronger."
