Amber Portwood’s baby daddy Andrew Glennon is making his debut on this week’s Teen Mom OG. But before viewers meet the newest member of the franchise, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on his dark past!
Portwood, 27, began dating Glennon in July after meeting on Marriage Boot Camp to save her relationship with ex-fiancé Matt Baier. In court papers obtained from the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder, Glennon was hit with a judgment for $8,969.08 on January 8, 2008. A clerk for the office told RadarOnline.com in August that the debt was still outstanding.
But financial issues are the least of Portwood’s worries, as his girlfriend of over three years filed a restraining order against him on October 30, 2013. She accused him of showing up to her apartment uninvited, letting the air out of her tires, contacting her “obsessively” and sending “threatening” emails. “I broke up with him and he was very upset,” she wrote. “He hid my keys as I had to leave out of fear. The next day he wouldn’t leave my apartment until my dad threatened to call the police.” Her request for a domestic violence restraining order was granted for three years. It expired on October 30, 2016.
He was hit with a second restraining order by another ex-girlfriend on April 23, 2015. “Since breaking up with him, I have received hundreds of emails, phone calls, text messages and Facebook messages from him harassing me,” she wrote. “He has shown up at my work, home and the bus stops I take to and from work as well. I am scared for my safety and I am scared of him.” A temporary restraining order against Glennon was issued on May 14, 2015. The restraining order was dissolved and the case was dismissed on June 4, 2015 when neither appeared in court.
Glennon exclusively told RadarOnline.com in September that he hit rock bottom when his father was diagnosed with cancer while his mother was fighting the disease. His father’s death forced him to fall into a “tailspin.” “Depression, drinking and throwing my heart through any open door,” he said. “It nearly cost my life.”

Portwood’s new man was arrested on April 19, 2009 on drug charges. “Glennon did unlawfully possess a controlled substance, to wit, heroin,” the court papers read of the first count, as the second count read, “Glennon did unlawfully possess a controlled substance, to wit, MDMA (Ecstasy).” For the third count, Glennon was charged with being under the influence of the controlled substance CNS stimulant, which is a medication that is often used to treat ADHD. He was held on a bail of $10,000 at the time of his arrest. He accepted a plea deal of guilty. He was placed on a three-year probation for the heroin count, while the MDMA and CNS stimulant counts were dismissed.
Glennon broke his probation, as he was arrested for possession of a firearm and deadly weapon in July 2010. He was charged with two counts of unlawfully owning, possessing, purchasing and receiving a handgun, one count of possession of a rifle by a felon, one count possession of a billy, which is a baton, and two counts of possession of metal knuckles. He was arrested and held on $170,000 bail. He pled not guilty to all five counts and the charges against him were dismissed.
Then on March 3, 2014, Glennon was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. For the second count, he was charged with “driving a vehicle with 0.08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in his or her blood.” His blood alcohol count was .09. Glennon was ordered to serve 96 hours in Los Angeles County Jail and pay $2,120 in fines and fees. He was also required to attend 20 alcoholic anonymous/narcotics anonymous meetings twice a week.
Now, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that his rap sheet doesn't end there! In court documents exclusively obtained from Superior Court of Los Angeles, Glennon was arrested on April 6, 2007 for “being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and a drug under the combined influence of an alcoholic beverage and a drug.” Glennon drove a vehicle 30 or more miles per hour over the maximum. He was ordered to serve 96 hours in jail and pay court fines.
But his criminal past hasn’t scared Portwood away, as they’re currently expecting a baby boy together. Portwood is also mother to daughter Leah with ex-fiancé Gary Shirley.
