Amber Marchese is going out with a bang!

As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, after just one season, Amber has decided to call it quits with her run on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Marchese now tells RadarOnline.com that she isn't happy with her experience filming the show.
"I approached the show as an actress wanting to make producers happy," she said. "I wanted to make Andy Cohen happy."
Unfortunately, it didn't work out how Marchese hoped. "The ramifications of that did not sink in until after I watched the show," she explained. "That is not Amber on any level."

"I am happy I did it," Marchese admitted. "I learned a great deal."

But she's not happy about the way the experience turned out overall. "However, RHONJ is a hard gig that requires one to be heartless and cruel," she claimed. "I am neither."

Marchese says she didn't like having to be mean to her costars."I have learned too much in my life and have too much love in my heart to intentionally hurt anyone," she said.

"I am a girls' girl and do not want to see my friends in pain and this show requires you to be deceitful," she continued.

But Marchese appreciates having a chance to build awareness about breast cancer during her stint."Many good things came from the show: a great platform for breast cancer awareness and some amazing friendships," she said.
