According to new reports, court documents reveal that Amber Heard and then-girlfriend Tasya van Ree got into a heated argument at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on September 14, 2009.

Heard allegedly "grabbed and struck" Tasya in the arm, leading to a call to the police. Heard was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges, reports claim, appearing in court the following day.

The prosecutor declined to take the case further, but warned Heard that she could reconsider and re-file within the two-year statute of limitation period.

Though gay marriage was not legal at the time of Heard and van Ree's relationship, preventing the pair from tying the knot, they took every step they could towards a legal union, with Heard even changing her name to van Ree.

Now, Heard has found herself in a very different situation. As RadarOnline.com reported, the 30-year-old filed for divorce in Los Angeles on May 25, after 15 months of marriage to Johnny Depp, 52.

Later, Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against the actor, arriving to court with a bruise on her eye face, the alleged result of Depp throwing his iPhone at her. Being well aware that doubts would arise over her claims she suffered repeated abuse at the hands of Depp, Heard also secretly amassed a damning trove of evidence against her estranged husband, including shocking photos of her alleged injuries.
