Just before she rang in her milestone birthday, the star's lawyer, David Esquibias, shared: "Amanda is doing great, enjoying school and thriving creatively."

As reported, Bynes went back to school at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise (FIDM) in October, after months of suffering mental health issues.

"We are all so proud of her," Esquibias said at the time, "and can't wait to see her amazing designs on the runway someday."

After Bynes was released from the psychiatric hospital in November 2014, she tweeted that she had been diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive.

Her mother, Lynn Bynes, was appointed temporary conservator, though Bynes insisted she was "on medication and I'm seeing my psychologist and psychiatrist weekly" to have it lifted.
