Did Britney Spears make a sex tape? Fans have been asking this question ever since it was reported in March of 2017 that the Oops, I Did It Again singer might have made a video with a secret lover. The so called “Fappening 2.0” was happening with dozens of celebrity nude photos being released by hackers including illicit photos of Emma Watson and Rose McGowan. While she has always denied the existence of a sex tape, and one has never come to light, it was also rumored that Spears would be among them.

Despite the amount of celebrity sex tapes and pictures released to the public, Spears has so far been spared. The lack of an actual video making the rounds has not stopped speculation about Spears' possible sex tape.

Toward the end of March 2017 a group of anonymous hackers released a second round of photos of stars. These nude photos and videos were exposed in a picture dump that would become known as the “Fappening 2.0.” The X-rated photos in the hack included actress Katie Cassid and actress Amanda Seyfried amongst others. While the exact timing of the alleged Britney Spears recording is not known, it was reportedly around the time that the “Fappening 2.0” hack occurred.

The identity of the man Britney Spears supposedly made a sex tape with was never confirmed — reports referred to him as a “secret lover.” At the time that the sex tape might have been made, around March of 2017, Spears had been dating a much younger man, Sam Asghari who is a model, fitness trainer and actor.

While rumors of the Britney Spears sex tape circulated — including quotes that Spears herself was devastated that the raunchy video might be released — the official word from her camp was complete denial.

Supposedly the Britney Spears sex tape as it was reported was not too raunchy by celebrity sex tape standards. Spears is allegedly topless and smoking what appears to be a joint while grinding her secret lover. The exact length of the video is not known, but it sounds like a relatively short clip.

As RadarOnline.com reported, an insider was quoted saying Britney Spears was devastated by the prospect of her personal sex tape being made public. The insider said Spears “is horrified this is happening to her after everything that she’s been through.” The insider went on to say, “She’s totally mortified and not coping well at all.” Luckily for her that horror never happened.

The Lifetime television network released a biopic film titled Britney Ever After in February of 2017. The film suggested Britney Spears and then boyfriend, fellow pop star Justin Timberlake, made a sex tape together before they split up in 2002. This rumor has never proven to be true and no sex tape of Spears and Timberlake has been released to the public.

Back in 2005 reports surfaced that Britney Spears and then husband Kevin Federline had shown their personal sex tape to an estate planner. However, after the report was released by US Weekly Spears and Federline signed legal declarations stating that the tape never existed and denied that they ever filmed a sex tape together.

In 2008 reports alleged that former Spears boyfriend Adnan Ghalib was attempting to shop around a sex tape that the couple had made. After British outlets published these accounts Ghalib threatened litigation saying that no such tape exists and claimed it never did.  He told reporters, ‘There is no sex tape and I’ve never claimed there is one.’ Spears agreed that they had never made a sex tape together.

While some had hoped that a sex tape between Britney Spears and her first husband, childhood friend Jason Alexander, would leak, one never did. But rumors about alleged sex tapes involving the "Hit Me Baby One More Time" singer continue to swirl.
