You would never know anything was wrong in Miller's life as she smiled and hammed it up for the March 11 Kids' Choice Awards at the USC Galen Center In Los Angeles.
Famed dance teacher Miller wore leopard print to the event that brings out dozens of child stars. She shot to fame by mentoring kids pursuing dance careers on Lifetime's Dance Moms, which just completed its 7th season.
But as RadarOnline.com has reported, Miller, 51, got in trouble with the IRS and was accused of hiding income. Miller pled guilty to not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets in June 2016.

During her upcoming May 8 sentencing hearing, a federal judge will decide if Miller should be sentenced to prison or probation for concealing hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of income during her Chapter 11 bankruptcy. She could face up to 30 months in prison.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Ziegler, 14, who worked with Miller on Dance Moms, slammed her in a tell-all book called The Maddie Diaries: A Memoir. Ziegler snubbed her former mentor by not even mentioning her by name. However, she did allude to Miller's alleged misdeeds as a dance coach!
Ziegler praised current mentor, singer/dancer Sia, and seemed to be dissing Miller when she wrote in her book, "Before I met Sia, I would say yes to a lot of things I didn't want to do. Because I thought I had to – I didn't want to disappoint anyone." She implied being stressed out by the dark side of performing for Miller.
Also in her tell-all tome, Ziegler wrote in an apparent slap at her teacher Miller, who ruled Dance Moms with an iron fist, "I'd be overwhelmed by the amount of work on my plate." Sia, on the other hand, Ziegler told her readers, "always tells me you have to have time off, step back and appreciate the moment."
Miller's day at the 2017 Kids' Choice Awards looked carefree, but her life might not be like that for long. Will she wind up bare-faced in the big house? Stay tuned for Miller's sentencing news on May 8.
