Ex-'Vanderpump Rules' Star Jax Taylor Counts Cash Outside Liquor Store After Finding Himself Unemployed Amid $1.2 Million Tax Troubles
Jax Taylor is counting his pennies now that he's unemployed. The ex-Vanderpump Rules star was spotted double checking his cash after pulling money out at an ATM inside a liquor store.
The 42-year-old new dad was seen unrolling his freshly-pulled out bills and thumbing through them outside the convenience store in Los Angeles.
Scrubbing it in sweats, Jax was photographed rocking a black sweatshirt, a pair of Nikes, and a mismatched blue baseball cap.
Sporting facial hair, the fired Bravo personality looked stressed while counting his cash before stashing the money in his pocket and heading off.
Jax went on the money run alone. His wife, ex-SUR waitress Brittany Cartwright, their 6-month-old son, Cruz, and none of his former Vanderpump Rules friends were with him.
In the summer of 2020, Jax found himself on Bravo's chopping block. Fans demanded the network fire the controversial star after they let go of OG cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, as well as newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni.

Jax continued to survive for several months before Bravo axed him, despite claiming he was returning to the show only months before.
“Vanderpump Rules is supposed to go back to filming. In fact, we are supposed to go back to filming this month. I think – that’s the last I heard," he said in October 2020.
In December of that year, he announced the news and revealed a then pregnant Brittany would not be returning either. "The last 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life," Jax wrote on Instagram.
"Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules. We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors," he added.
Jax also thanked Bravo before teasing, "Stay tuned, We can’t wait for to share what we have planned." While they welcomed their first child in April, Jax and Brittany have yet to share another project.
Months after his firing, it was revealed Jax owed a total of $1.2 million in taxes. RadarOnline.com obtained the federal documents that confirmed the ex-SUR bartender was on the hook for $868,035 but that wasn't all.
In the state of California, Jax owed an additional $316,571.
